I like to take photos, because there are moments that I would like to remember for ever. However, lately I haven’t taken a lot of photos.

Generally I take many pictures when I travel. When I went to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I was in the Congress of Sociology, I took at least two thousand photos.

Also I like to take photos in holidays or special moments like relative’s birthdays, Christmas or New Year, when all my family are at home.

I haven’t camera, therefore, I haven`t taken many photos. Although lately I have used my mobile phone to take photos, but if I had camera I would be much time playing with it.

Since I have access to digital photos, I hardly ever print photos. Maybe, if I want to give a present to a very important person, I’ll print some photos.

I am not a photolog freak. I like photos, but I don’t publish many photos of me. I don´t have photolog, but I have a profile in Facebook and there I have photos of me or some landscapes.

This photo is very special for me. I took it the last summer, when I was travelling in Chiloe Island. I was on holidays in Chiloe and I was staying at home of a classmate in Castro.

The photo shows a beach that is road from Ancud to place where they are the penguin. This not is the official road. It is alternative road that a local person knew. This beach is a landscape very beautiful.

I like this photo because I love in generally the beaches and this I really like the colour of water. I think that is a beach paradise.

Movies

I love to go to the cinema, I usually every two weeks. But the last time I went to the cinema, was three weeks ago, because i wasn’t in Sanitago.

I also like to rent movies. I prefer to rent them at Blocbuster on Tuesday, because is cheaper and I can bring more movies home. Sometimes I also buy movies, but it has been four months since the last time i did.

My favourite movie is El secreto de sus ojos (The secret in their eyes, 2009). This movie is about a retired legal assistant. He writes a novel about a case of rape & murder that wasn’t solved. This leads him to seek answers and find out what actually happened, making him search for the people involved on this, like the prosecutor and the couple of women who were raped and murdered.

The good points of the film are the quality of the acting, the musical arrangements and the way the story is told going back & forth trough past & present. It’s hard to spot weak points in the film. One of them could be the absence of the Argentinian social context, although this doesn’t diminish the importance or relevance of the story.

I recommend this movie a lot, and if I could I would congratulate all the artistical & technical team working on it.

Travel and Holidays

I love travel. I like go to beach, river, mountain, but my place favorite is the sea.

I usually spend my holidays in Curicó and Iloca. Curicó is my city of origin, there is live my family and Iloca is a more near beach.

In my last holiday I traveled whit my girlfriend. We went camping in England Park, near city of Molina. In February we were in the Chiloe Island in the house of a classroom me in Castro. Too we went in Quellón and Ancud, in this last place there are beautiful beach.

I have not any plans for next holidays, but I would like to know the beach of the north of Chile also I would like to visit Easter Island, this is a place you have always wanted to visit.

I have been en Argentina, in the great and nice city of Buenos Aires, because I was the Congress of the Latin American Sociological Association 2009. Also I have been in the city of Parana- Entre Rios, almost on the border of Argentine with Brazil.

I would like to visit the countries of Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador or Colombia, because I want to know their culture, food, architecture and enjoy some beaches.
