According to information available on the Internet, the average carbon footprint of a person in Chile is 3.87 tonnes.

Recycling just one glass bottle or jar can save enough energy to run your TV for anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours, depending on the TV. Although generally it is mentioned that are 3 to 5 hours.

Part 2: Recycling

There are different types of ingredients to make compost, which in general terms both are given food and garden waste. Thus are the ingredients green and brown ingredients. Such as remains of vegetables, plants and some foods, and leaves, straw and other, respectively.

Part 3: Tips

I think the best measures are:
1. Separate waste and garbage, putting them in different containers so they can be processed.
2. Use cloth bags and other durable material, so as to avoid using so many plastic bags, although they are biodegradable.
3. Crush the cardboard and cans to use as little space as possible.
